Job description

Lead Mechanical Static Equipment Engineer for a 12 month contract at a Ltd Company target rate of £60 ph. (PLEASE ADVISE IF HIGHER RATE SOUGHT)

Location is Leatherhead (base) with occasional travel to Contractors in Seoul and Milan, Client in Vienna and Kallo site (Belgium).

Leatherhead - Hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

The role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will be made after a Qdos assessment

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client intends to build a new stand-alone sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and hydro processed vegetable oil (HVO) unit including a feed pre-treatment facility at the Borealis site in Kallo, Belgium. The client has requested a PMC to be provided to support their team.
The primary aim is to provide expertise to assist with CAPEX reduction and an increased rate of return. The client and PMC teams will evaluate the scope development of licensors, technology and service providers as well as engineering integrator.
The rest of the work will be typical PMC. Work including
Work includes:

• Supporting Engineering Partners and Licensors in developing all engineering deliverables to ensure a safe process unit fully integrated into the relevant refinery site.
• Reviewing of engineering documentation from Licensor / Engineering partner.
• Attend meetings.
• Provide progress reports.

• Location is Leatherhead (base) with occasional travel to Contractors in Seoul and Milan, Client in Vienna and Kallo site (Belgium).
• Hybrid working pattern when in Leatherhead of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
• Preference – previous KBR experience.
• Required - Experience working as a PMC.
• Required is a specialist and detailed knowledge of include static equipment type (pressure vessels and tanks). In addition, heat exchanger experience (shell & tubes and air cooler types) is also preferred.
