Job Title: B2 Engineer
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £70,000

Hours: Monday to Friday days, early finish Friday.

We have opened a Brand-New role with one of the World's leading zero-emission flight organisations for a B2 Licensed Engineer with any type rating!
From assisting in avionic modifications to performing maintenance on aircraft, the B2 Engineer will have a number of responsibilities as listed below.
Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance, inspection and repairs of different aircraft
* Assist in modification, integration activities and when required scheduled/ unscheduled maintenance on prototype aircraft
* Quality control and inspections of aircraft components and installation work
* Assist in manufacturing and assembling components.
* Ensure proper execution of parts tags attached to repairable and serviceable parts
* Ensuring that health and safety procedures and COSHH are always observed
* Ensure company tooling and parts are controlled and maintained
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years of aircraft experience relevant to aircraft wiring systems / Avionic installation
* CAA AML B2 - With at least 1 type already held
* Direct hands-on experience in wiring repairs and modifications
* Experience in carrying out major modifications
* Demonstrate problem-solving skills
* A genuine passion for clean technology and a future of electric aviation
* Valid Human Factors, EWIS + Fuel Tank Safety
