Teaching assistants for Bath Secondary school, full time
Axcis Education are currently aiding a secondary school in need of a few teaching assistants to join them full time starting asap and supporting their students on either 1:1 or group based assignments. Working hours are 8:30-3:30 and term time only, Monday to Friday. The school is based on the south side of Bath and there is a bus that does reach the school should any applicant not be able to drive to get there. Since the school has taken people from Axcis permanently before, for any of the right candidates this could also be a possibility for you too!! Whilst there will be opportunities to support students more generally, it is likely you would be supporting them on a 1:1 basis, especially those that have a lower learning ability and need the extra help. This will include those that may have a learning disability. Whilst we would love to have people that have previous school experience, we would still welcome those that perhaps have experience in working with children from other sectors, or perhaps are graduates or currently studying at Uni and would be able to facilitate a full time school job alongside their studies.
