We are on the lookout for a vibrant and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join an exceptional school in the Bury St Edmunds area.

The school caters to the unique needs of students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) aged 3-19.

Responsibilities:

As a valued member of the team, you'll bring a dynamic and friendly spirit to the classroom, fostering children's development through engaging play activities.

Your role will involve facilitating learning in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, ensuring all students have access to education.

Comfortable with de-escalation techniques, you'll effectively manage challenging behavior.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), gained from hands-on experience with children or adults.

• Innately positive and enthusiastic, employing a creative approach to both learning and teaching.
• Recognises and values the unique individuality of each pupil, tailoring support to their specific needs.
