Job description

Currently recruiting for a Junior Security officer to support with security related matters.

The successful candidate will be expected to support with aspects of security arrangements and performance across the company’s activities in both the Civil Nuclear sector, typically work undertaken at the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) sites, eg Sellafield, and Dounreay, and in the Defense Sector, typically work undertaken at Ministry of Defence (MOD) sites

Requirements

· Graduate educated with a relevant degree

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Security role within the UK nuclear industry, either within an NDA, MOD, or contractor organisation

·Supporting the Head of Security with all personnel security arrangements, including security vetting arrangements for both UK nationals, and overseas nationals both in the UK and whilst working overseas.

· Support with all necessary physical security arrangements at the UK offices, plus appropriate co-ordination of physical security arrangements

· Support with IT security arrangements in the UK, and where appropriate in co-ordination with other colleagues located on other sites

· Co-ordination with UK security regulators, so as to maintain all relevant security accreditations.

· Carrying out security vetting for all new joiners to the company and on going management of current staff
