About the Opportunity
Jacobs is currently recruiting Safety Case Engineers across all levels from entry to principal to join our Safety Case team within our decommissioning and radioactive waste management business. The role can be based at Harwell, London, Warrington Scrabster and Westlakes, and other locations will also be considered. You will join a multi-disciplinary business that delivers a range of projects on behalf of both UK and international customers.
The decommissioning and radioactive waste management business provides an exciting mixture of consultancy and engineering projects, along with delivery of challenging decommissioning related EPC projects, to major clients in the UK across both the civil nuclear and defence industries. Overseas, we are delivering similarly interesting and exciting projects for clients in the Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe and Japan.
The primary focus of our Safety Case Team is the provision of safety analysis and safety case support to waste management and decommissioning projects, supporting licensees, future licensees, waste management organisations and regulators.
Alongside this, there are opportunities to support clients across the full Nuclear Lifecycle, including prospective licensees, reactor designers and vendors; nuclear site operators; industry bodies and regulators; and research institutions.
