Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: Up to £46,000
Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights)
Industry: FMCG/Manufacturing
Location: Stevenage
We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG Manufacturer whose product is consumed across the world! This is the chance to join a company that will help you develop and grow in your engineering career. You will be working alongside other Maintenance Engineers with a vast amount of experience.
Roles & responsibilities:
- Overseeing and conducting reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed production machinery
- Responding quickly and efficiently to any unscheduled plant stoppages
- Working closely within the engineering & production team to ensure maximum
efficiency - Possess a good level of understanding of the process, products, and all quality procedures
- Diagnosing faults, identifying problems on machinery, and implementing solutions
Your background:
- Recognised Engineering apprenticeship with formal qualification (NARIC/UK ENIC or equivalent)
- Electrically biased with Food/FMCG experience
- Experienced with industrial 3 phase motor and control systems and their interaction with modern PLC systems
- Experienced with pneumatic control/operation and common industrial bearing systems
- Food Safety awareness (desirable)
