Construction Lawyer (Contentious & Non-Contentious) Top 100 firm Bristol A diverse role that encompasses both contentious and non-contentious Construction work has come up with an exclusive Top 100 firm in their Bristol office.
You will :
- Manage a varied caseload of construction matters, including disputes, drafting and negotiating for NEC, JCT, IET and ACA contracts.
- Provide expert legal advice on a range of construction-related issues, including contracts, procurement, and risk management.
- Draft and review construction contracts, subcontracts, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas to provide integrated solutions to clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage a caseload of contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
- Provide legal advice and support to clients on construction-related issues.
- Draft and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and other legal documents.
- Represent Corporate clients in various sectors such as Energy and Engineering in construction litigation and arbitration proceedings.
Requirements: - Qualified solicitor with 2-5 years PQE in Construction law.
- Experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
- Strong technical expertise in construction law, with a focus on contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Commercial acumen and a strategic mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for business development and growth.
