Summary:
Our managers are an integral part of our team who lead and deliver high quality camps to children aged 4 to 14 years old. To succeed as a Camp Manager you’ll need to possess bundles of energy, professionalism and a commitment to ensure all children have fun and excel by providing safe, inspiring, and exciting sports multi-skills at our activity camps.
The Camp Manager role requires dedication as we’re looking for Camp Managers who can fulfil this role Monday to Friday as a full-time position during the school holidays, to act as the responsible individual, the first aider and the contact for the site team.
Responsibilities:
- Overall delivery and day to day operations of an unforgettable camp experience, ensuring every child is safe and secure, engaged and has fun, regardless of their ability.
- Lead team briefings, and help to organise the activity and enrichment programme
- Follow operating procedures and policies, completing all relevant paperwork, including the recording of incidents, medical administration forms and managing Ofsted requirement
- Parent/carer interaction, being front of house and the first point of contact for any queries, complaints and or site visits.
- Ensure that the welfare of children is paramount always; upholding health and safety standards and procedures, ensuring staff supervise children at all times and overseeing the safe use of equipment.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Possess a childcare, sport or teaching related degree (or relevant qualification)
- An enthusiasm for, and a minimum of 12 months experience of working with children aged 4 to 14 years old
- At least 12 months experience in a management and or leadership position that includes delivering high quality customer service
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Desirable:
- A full paediatric first aid qualification
- Ability to implement policies and health and safety procedures
- Ability and confidence to deliver our training programme to new applicants and bring existing staff up to speed on new processes and procedures
- A knowledge and understanding of our camps structure
- Checking equipment and completing paperwork to order supplies
- Ability to complete and or check all relevant paperwork, including visitors to site, first aid accident book and the recording of incidents
- Be an effective communicator by communicating clearly, concisely and respectfully

Additional Information:
