Job Description:
As a trusted recruitment partner, we are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer for an exciting opportunity with one of our clients in Cornwall. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of embedded software solutions, utilizing their expertise in C++, Java, and PCB design. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the R&D team to design and develop embedded software for various applications and platforms.
Utilize your expertise in C++ and Java programming languages to create efficient and reliable software solutions.
Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate software with PCB designs and hardware components.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing and deployment.
Optimize software performance and memory usage to meet project requirements and constraints.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in embedded software development, with strong programming skills in C++ and Java.
Familiarity with PCB design and layout principles.
Experience working in an R&D environment is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
