PRS are working with a national facilities management who are looking to recruit a mobile HVAC Engineer to cover 18 sites across the Birmingham area.
In this role you will be responsible for carrying out planned works and reactive maintenance across the various site locations.
You will ensure you will carry out all technical repairs and PPM works as well as ensure all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date.
Other responsibilities include:
- Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures
- Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary
- Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times
- Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement
- Carry out surveys and complete reports as required
- Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individual’s technical competence in accordance with current specifications
- Attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments
- Work to a 1 in 4 call out rota
About you:
- Previous experience as a HVAC Engineer (pumps, motors etc)
- Commercial Gas tickets
- F Gas
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Full drivers licence
In return, you will receive a salary of up to £43,000 plus £2,000 annual standby, van, fuel card, uniform, PPE, 33 days holiday (inc Bank Holidays), phone, tablet and a range of other benefits.
