Utopian Professional Recruitment are delighted to be recently appointed to work in partnership with a family owned retailer who are looking to recruit a dedicated, hardworking and ambitious Customer Sales Advisor to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

With two opportunities available, one vacancy is based at the West End of Edinburgh and the other based at Newbridge.

Working as part of a small team your responsibilities will include:

• Being first point of contact for customers coming into the store
• Offer confidence and build rapport with each customer
• Use a variety of questioning techniques to identify the customers needs, listen to their challenges or requirements and provide a range of solutions
• Provide customer with a variety of products and solutions
• Chat through the customer budgets and match their needs accordingly
• Process customer orders, take payment and manage delivery expectations
• Take customer calls and respond accordingly
• Liaise directly with customers to arrange deliveries or amendments to their orders
• Work with the wider business when required
• Keep up to date on new products and customer offerings
• Ability to convert customer leads to a sale
• Support the business with all administrative tasks
• Working with a variety of systems including using all MS Office packages, Stock Management and iPads

To be considered for this opportunity we are looking for the following background / experience:

• Previous experience working in a face to face customer service environment
• Experience providing customers with first class customer service
• Background and knowledge working within a sales / upselling environment
• Professional, articulate with the ability to read customers
• Listening skills
• Proactive and efficient with the ability to think outside the box
• Ability to juggle a variety of tasks
• Support the business growth and work as part of a small team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Naturally positive and proactive
• Excellent organisational capability

Reward:

• Operational Hours – Monday to Saturday 9-5.30pm (you will work 5 days out of 7 per week, which will include some weekends) Flexibility will be offered.
• Full Time, permanent contract
• Starting Salary: £23,000 per annum, plus uncapped monthly bonus!!
• Pension
• Free Car Parking (Newbridge Only)
