Finance and Operations Manager
Edinburgh
Salary up to £60,000 + Hybrid working
CV Screen is recruiting for a Finance and Operations Manager to join a fantastic business near Edinburgh, where you’ll be responsible for the operational management of the Finance, HR, Facilities, and IT functions of the business. This role is hybrid, allowing you to work from home when not in the office.
WHO WOULD THIS ROLE SUIT:
This particular position will be suitable for someone who has previously overseen the finance strategy, people strategy, governance, and operations of a successful growing business.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Create and execute strategic plans and budgets
- Develop strong financial, HR, and operational plans and policies
- Oversee and prepare the annual budget.
- Track and report financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements and submit statutory returns.
- Lead grant applications, including those for capital funding.
- Ensure HR processes and systems comply with legal requirements and internal policies.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A relevant degree or equivalent, along with evidence of ongoing professional development, is a must.
- A relevant postgraduate professional qualification is preferred.
- Experience in preparing financial statements in line with regulations.
- Proficient in using financial information for decision-making
- Demonstrated experience in successfully developing and implementing financial and operational strategies
- Essential experience in leading transformative change involving systems, projects, and people.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting.
- Strong leadership experience in operations, covering facilities and HR.
SALARY:
- A salary of up to £60,000 is available.
