CER are looking for a 1 – 1 Tutor that is experienced in supporting children with SEMH needs. The successful candidate will also have experience in supporting children who Education Health Care Plan’s (EHCPs).
The role entails re-engaging a young person with learning, supporting them with thier academic progress, following aspects of the mainstream curriculum, whilst also being confident in adapting teaching methods to work in line with the childs specific needs.
The Role
- £27 – £30 Per Hour
- Immediate start
- Part Time – 3 hours per day
- KS2
- One – One

- Accessible from motorways/public transport
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher or Instructor.
- Experience when working with children, with SEMH or mainstream.
- A vaild DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain this .
- An understanding of Special Educational needs or barriers to learning.
- Additional CPD qualifications, such as: Team-Teach and moving and handling would be beneficial but not essential as CPD is offered..
- Two suitable references covering the last two years.
