Financial Controller – TJX, eComm and Retail

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

This financial controller role will be a key part of the Fashion and Beauty Senior finance team and wider management team working collaboratively with all support functions. We are looking for an experienced leader who will manage the running of a controlled and efficient customer account, working within DPDHL guidelines to deliver support key business initiatives and influence business direction.

The Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include:

• As a trusted Finance Business Partner, you will provide financial governance and support for operational colleagues.
• Deliver solutions to minimise financial and commercial risk on existing contracts and improve efficiency, profitability and cash flow.
• Provide appropriate analysis and recommendations to influence decision-making process.
• Support Key business initiatives i.e., start-ups, projects and strategic opportunities ensuring commercial propositions are developed and implemented.
• Own the change management process to ensure changes in commercial and financial requirements are communicated and implemented promptly.
• Build solid relationships with both external and internal customers to foster collaboration, networking & best practice.
• Manage multiple stakeholders – to ensure smooth delivery of key business initiatives.
• Ensure financial and customer reporting & forecasting aids decision-making and monitors progress.
• Identify and manage financial and commercial risk through a thorough understanding of commercial terms, on-going performance, and other influencing factors.

To be successful as a Financial Controller in DHL Supply Chain you need the following:

• Can do attitude with the desire to work collaboratively with key stakeholder groups.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting processes and terminology
• Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management experience
• Ability to influence key decision makers at all levels.
• Relevant financial qualification (ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent
