Job description
We are supporting a market leader in the Construction industry, who are now looking to appoint an exceptional Bid Manager with a build background, to be based out of their Welwyn Garden City office Office.
You will work closely with the Pre-Construction Director and Proposals team in order to create exceptional bids; project managing the process from conception through to Client handover.
You will have worked with a Main Contractor previously and have worked on Education, Commercial, Retail and Leisure projects. Utilising the Estimating and pre-construction teams, you will write bid content from scratch and formulate strategic bid win plans and play an integral part in maintaining internal and external relationships, including stakeholder interaction. You will play a major part in risk assessing the bid at various stages throughout the process; and manage any issues accordingly. You will have a very high standard of written English and be highly versed using InDesign and the relevant Microsoft packages. Ideally, you would have come from a Project / Design Management or Planning background and be commercially astute or have proven successful bid management experience within the built environment.
