£775pw high season - £600pw low season
This role will need flexibility during our busy season is key with regards to hours and days worked.

We are looking for a Van Driver to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis:
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake the receipt and delivery of various company related packages and mail items in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a neat and tidy appearance adhering to the company code of conduct (this includes wearing motorbike or wet weather clothing).
- Transport luggage, in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines and maximum vehicle load or as directed by the Fleet Controller /Logistics Manager.
- Clean UKME cars when required to do so.
- Work as part of the team of seasonal drivers cooperatively and willingly.
- Report to the Fleet Controller daily so jobs can be allocated.
- Undertake manual handling activities for the loading and unloading of items relating to client and company services.
- Transport client's luggage to the required destination in a timely fashion.
- Ensure that the work mobile phone is switched on and always answered.
- Be able to work to a flexible rota during high season.
- Always take instruction from the Fleet Controller/Logistics Manager.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks as directed by your Team Leader.
- Be aware of and adhere to all of UKME's policies and procedures.
- Comply with all Health and Safety regulations as governed by the Health and Safety at work Act 1974 (and any amendments).
- Ensure a professional approach is undertaken in performing duties when interacting with colleagues and external providers, with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality.
- Always maintain the Company vehicle.
- Support the Chauffeurs in their ad hoc duties.
- Verify luggage against manifesto to ensure all the luggage is present.
- Record mileage consistently and accurately.
- Ensure that main principal luggage is always kept separate and clearly identifiable (as required by Private Airport Suite Regulations).
Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities
- Demonstrated experience of delivering cargo/luggage.
- Holds a full and valid driver licence.
- Extensive knowledge of central London routes, its main attractions, and sites, and also knowledge of the surrounding counties.
- Knowledge of driving in the Surrey/Newmarket area.

- Must have own transportation/access to personal transportation to and from the work base out-of-hours
- Lives within 15 miles of central London for London-based positions
