Job Title: Production Manager

Location: West Yorkshire

Sector: Timber Frame

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Package


Would you enjoy working for a well established, growing timber frame business?
Do you want to play a key role in the improvement of the manufacturing capability?


As a production manager you will be the driving figure in implementing and coordinating various LEAN and 5S manufacturing processes to help increase production and quality performances. You will overseeing around 35 direct reports of which consist of production and operational staff.


You will be working closely with an experienced senior leadership team to agree, plan and control developments and manage the change process effectively.



Key Responsibilities:


- Ensure production, quality, delivery and health and safety operate at the optimum levels.
- To liaise with senior management team to set appropriate KPI's
- Contribute and comply with a performance management process for all staff, conducting performance reviews as required.
- Liaise with a range of different stakeholders effectively to ensure there is planning and procedures in place
- To ensure risk assessments and fully implemented and up to date.

- A degree educated in a relevant discipline preferred
- A minimum of 3 years' experience gained in a management role within the engineering industry
- Previous experience of introducing LEAN manufacturing process'
- Strong knowledge of MS office packages
