We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy and Special Interest Projects team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. This role can be worked flexibly with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and the option of adjusted start and finish times. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, supporting the delivery of a wide variety of small and large schemes spanning the RIBA Work Stages 2-7, including energy infrastructure (sub stations), commercial, industrial, leisure, and other interesting projects in remote locations (e.g. British Antarctic Survey Antarctic Infrastructure Modernisation Programme (AIMP)). What does the role involve? As our Mechanical Engineer, you will support the delivery of the mechanical aspects of energy and building services related projects, conducting the design of mechanical systems and preparing drawings and specifications for equipment. Duties will be varied but include the following: Performing mechanical building services design including input to energy and renewables projects.Proud member of the Disability Confident employer scheme
