Pay Rate: £28,500 to £30,000
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Day Time only.
Working Hrs: 37.5 hrs a week (No weekends )
Location: Peterborough (PE2 6XE)
DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Smart Repaire r to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirments.
Work on new vehicles that are either brand new to 6 months old cars.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- To carry out repairs to vehicles using best practice techniques, incorportating customer approved repair methods and demo standards
- Repairs to include chips to paint work, chips to windscreens, dings and dent removal, polishing panels .
- Smart repair should be the first line of repair to reduce costs to our clients.
- To ensure correct clockings and documentation are kept up to date
- To ensure all vehicles indicated as a priority are completed for bookings
- Keep up to date with new technologies and PDR processes that could create savings in time and saving to materials
- Work with the management team to suggest improvements on managing the process
- Have ownership of vehicle and take responsibility of any repairs undertaken

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Have previous experience in Smart Repair and a very good attention for detail
- Are flexible in approach to work, and work effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems and have a can do, right first time and passionate approach
- IMI Accreditation Cosmetic Repair PDR Technician qualification - Desirable
- IMI EV Qualification- Desirable
- Good communicator at various levels - ability to liaise with management/admin team
- Smart repair experience (Body works, Scratches, polishing)
Understanding of fleet management programmes and experience of working on said programmes
