Job description
Trainee Service Engineer / Trainee Service Technician (FULL TRAINING PROVIDED) required to join a market leader within the water sector.
You must be based in Warrington, but happy to commute and travel to Colne, Lancashire.
We want hands-on people with a desire to learn. FULL TRAINING is provided with opportunities for accredited qualifications. This is a great opportunity to enter the engineering sector!
The successful Trainee Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician will provide onsite installation of monitoring systems to the wastewater network. Full training provided.
This is a trainee service position covering the North West (predominantly Lancashire). This role will suit energetic hands-on people such as: Field Service Engineers, Labourers, Production and Warehouse Operatives and apprentices in hands-on roles or young eager College and University Graduates who are looking to start their career in a hands on engineering role.
A full UK driving license is essential. The successful applicant must live in or close by to Warrington, and be commutable to Colne, Lancashire. This role will also be coving UK wide travel, Lancashire, Midlands, London and various other locations.
Package £23,000 – £25,000 DOE + Overtime allowance

Trainee Service Engineer / Trainee Engineer - Trainee-level position with full training provided
- Initial training will be a month prior to going on-site.
- Provide onsite installation of monitoring systems to the wastewater network
- Install, calibrate and maintain the in-house manufactured testing and monitoring equipment
- Working collaboratively in a team of 3 other field service technicians, providing operational support to the Field Service Managers and Team Leaders.
- Produce detailed service reports on time with all processes followed.
- Installing testing and monitoring equipment to wastewater networks in the North West region and rest of the UK (as and when required)
- Evening and weekend work on a scheduled rota.
- Schedule workflow and manage all onsite installations, repairs, maintenance, and tests.
- The hub is in Colne, Lancashire, so must be a reasonable commutable distance to here.
- MUST LIVE IN WARRINGTON.
Requirements - Full clean UK driving license.
- Some exposure to hands-on work (Engineering and Field Service is desirable)
- This will suit a recent college leaver, graduate, a hands-on apprentice or someone with hands-on experience.
- Able to work in confined spaces.
- Willingness to cover the North West and be available to travel UK wide for further work requirements - Must live in Warrington and be happy to commute to Colne, Lancashire.
