Who you are:
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in a resilience domain / Understanding of industry best practices pertaining to Operational Resilience Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Third Party Resilience.
- Understanding of existing and emerging regulatory requirements in the financial sector regarding Business Continuity and Operational Resilience.
- Experience successfully managing and delivering projects independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with the ability to articulate program enhancements to key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and calm under pressure.
- PC skills: Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Resilience, Risk Management, or Technical background.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
- Financial Services sector experience.
- Must have the ability to be flexible as things change.
What you will do:
- Support development and implementation of the Firm’s strategic resilience framework and ensure an effective operating model to build resilience for the Firm.
- Manage selected Resilience projects to closure with the objective of building the Firm’s resilience posture.
- Develop and maintain project plans, via Jira (Kanban).
- Ensure key deliverables and associated milestones are documented, communicated, and tracked.
- Validate that risks and issues are identified, tracked, communicated, and resolved through agreement with interested parties.
- Identify and coordinate with required internal and external resources to ensure effective and efficient execution of deliverables.
- Work directly with senior management, and highlight the need for senior-level support and decision-making where required.
- Manage the Resilience Governance project portfolio.
- Ensure appropriate project tracking milestones are identified and tracked, via Jira.
- Ensure cross-project dependencies, impacts, and solutions are identified and understood.
- Ensure coordination of project tracking with project teams.
- Support response to regulatory, audit, and client engagements pertaining to Firm Resilience programs.
- Proactively research and incorporate industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements across Firm Resilience programs.
