Mechanical Engineer / Product Designer / Solidworks Engineer
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Product Designer / Solidworks Engineer to join small but very well-established and successful design and manufacturing business based nr Tewkesbury on a permanent PAYE basis. The successful candidate can expect a good starting salary with ongoing rewards and a varied career together with a friendly working environment.

The company designs and develops products/machinery for various sectors including agricultural, security etc.

Design Engineer duties will include:
•Working with the company Director to understand the current product range.
•Using Solidworks to develop and design a range of metal fabrication/products.
•Producing manufacturing drawings, bills of material etc all from the Solidwork model.
•Communicate with internal teams and customers etc as required.

Design Engineer requirements:
•Experience using Solidworks on live projects (3 years minimum) and producing manufacturing data ie drawings.
•Previous experience working for a fabricator/manufacturing business is advantageous.
•Good organisation and communication skills.
•Be reliable and have good attention to detail.
•Live in/within a commutable distance of Tewkesbury.
