A rare opportunity has arisen for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team at Gael Force Group, based at our Headquarters in Inverness.

This role will be instrumental in supporting our work towards that vision and mission by creating, leading , and delivering the marketing and branding strategy for the company.
As part of a small team, the Marketing Manager will carry out all day-to-day marketing and branding work and will support senior management and Directors to promote and deliver sales objectives, product commercialisation, work on strategic long-term planning, support market analysis and internal and external brand image.
- Manage and optimise all marketing and communications to support company activities including sales, lead generation, and employer branding.
- Create, lead, and deliver the marketing strategy for the company.
- Manage the marketing budget.
- Create and publish all marketing material through digital platforms and traditional media, including email campaigns, social media marketing, online advertising, websites, and print.
- Analyse, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and communications.
- Create and implement promotional and content plans, and review success against KPIs.
- Support intelligence gathering on markets and products and work with directors to take product innovation to commercialisation.
- Ensure strong brand management and corporate identity with clear internal and external communications.
- Analyse prospective strategic partner relationships for company marketing.
- Strategic oversight of market research and intelligence gathering to support developing market strategy.
- Project manage the company’s presence at exhibitions and events locally, nationally, and internationally.
- Respond to press requests,create press releases as necessary and cultivate positive relationships with trade, local, and national media outlets to achieve optimal response.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, membership agencies, and third-party agencies.
As a Marketing Manager you will be skilled and/or qualified in the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role - management experience is preferred.
- Experience with digital marketing, including to social media marketing, email marketing, marketing analytics, and content creation.
- Experience with more traditional marketing methods including direct marketing, and event coordination.
- Experience with copywriting, public relations, and media management.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, in particular InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with the Aquaculture, and marine industries is preferred.
