The company:
One of the biggest private family enterprises in the UK, employing over 3000 people worldwide, is now recruiting for a Legal Counsel to be based at its headquarters in Nottingham.
The company has interests in a range of industry sectors including automotive, care, construction, leisure, and property.
The Role:
As the sole in-house legal counsel, you will be dealing with property purchases and sales, leases, re-financing, and advising on landlord matters expected by a landowner with a wide property portfolio. In addition, you will advise on business acquisitions, company formations, and deal with inter-company transactions within the group.
Skills & experience:
As the responsibilities of this role are wide-ranging, you must be able to consider matters where you may not initially be familiar with the subject matter and be willing to develop your knowledge.
The individual:
You will ideally have 8yrs+ PQE and be comfortable answering requests for colleagues at the Head Office and in the group businesses on a wide range of enquiries.
You will be commercially minded and be able to give advice objectively.
Salary & benefits:
Salary up to £80,000 + car allowance. Other benefits include pension, private medical, car parking, 25 days holiday (plus Bank hols).
