Prospero Teaching is currently working with a SEMH School in Stockport that is looking for an experienced SEMH Teacher / Tutor.

This school specifically caters for secondary aged pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school offers a variety of enriching educational opportunities for pupils, including academic, functional and vocational skills.

As an SEMH teacher you will connect directly with young people, guiding them to get the very best from their education. The role requires a holistic and nurturing approach from someone who is empathetic and understanding of the needs of the students.

This opportunity will suit teachers who have a passion and natural ability to engage hard to reach pupils and those with strong classroom presence. You will engage the children and young people within the school in innovative, therapeutic, and meaningful activities, supporting them in learning to help them reach their full potential.

This role is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) to start ASAP.

Requirements:

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
