Job description

We are looking for a part qualified accountant with strong double entry and management accounting experience to join a global transportation company headquartered in the U.K as a Finance Business Partner. Paying up to £43k plus study support and based in Central London with hybrid working, this role will report directly into the Head of Finance and will involve exposure to a wide range of different stakeholders.

The Role

• Process period end journals and assist in preparation of the management accounts and variance analysis.
• Responsibility and oversight to ensure accurate preparation of balance sheet and other reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts and the mid-term plan.
• Prepare periodic invoices to customers attending performance review meetings.
• Oversee preparation of regular payment run, acting as key liaison with the outsourced AP shared service centre.
• Ensure Requisitions are raised in a timely manner and the end-to-end process doesn't delay payment to suppliers.

Your Profile

• You will ideally be educated to degree level and also be an early studier or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong double entry and Management Accounting experience is a prerequisite.
• Candidates who are AAT qualified with strong month end and double entry experience are also eligible to apply.
