Job description
Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Health and Safety legislation and its practical application
- Ensuring company adherence to internal management systems
- Sitebased duties involving nationwide travel and potential night shifts
- Providing internal HSEQ support
- Presenting findings to the HSEQ Manager
- Effective communication across all company levels from site operatives to directors
- Advocating for safety and engaging with workforce representatives
- Conducting incident investigations and delivering reports
- Crafting and submitting sitespecific safe systems of work documentation (e.g. RAMS CoSHH lift plans) for client review and approval
Requirements
Essential skills/Qualifications:
- Possession of recognized safety qualifications (IOSH NEBOSH BSC etc.)
- Strong communication abilities
- Demonstrated comprehension of Health and Safety Law
- Experience in team collaboration and selfmanagement onsite
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to work night shifts when necessary
Desirable skills/Qualifications:
- Understanding of Environmental law
- Familiarity with Lift Plan requirements
- Track record of reporting issues as well as positive outcomes
