Job description
Assist the charity in the midst of expansion of its research with bookkeeping 1 day weekly to help the management of its asset and operational finances
The ambitious charity is at the forefront of PET CT scanning in the north of England
What will you be doing?We need an efficient Bookkeeper, someone with experience of using Sage and the general posting of documentation for the accountants who visit the charity. We need invoicing and filing systems maintained in accounting order. The main aim is to ensure the finances of the charity are being correctly recorded for the board and there is no delay to income due to the charity. The charity works in conjunction with other large organisations and must be financially efficient in its responses.
The volunteer will work with the charity manager.
What are we looking for?The person should be willing to do the basic but important bookkeeping work, and be of friendly demeanor in an office for a maximum of 2 people. They should be of a supportive nature and used to working in a small team.
What difference will you make?The day being offered will free the charity to spend the time on the important area of fundraising for the necessary developments of its operations and so the contribution will be valuable to the benefit of the public the charity serves.
