Job description
CARE ASSISTANT/STUDENT/HCA FOR PRIVATE FAMILY
We are looking for friendly and hardworking individuals to support our family in providing care and support to and elderly lady with early dementia and who is currently bedbound.
We are based in Hove.
We have a range of times available over the week to cover daily care which will include weekends, but currently no night shifts.
Our mum is a feisty Italian who still has a life to be lived and we are looking for people with character who would want to work with us to create a good life, for whatever time is left. Personal care, knowledge of supporting those with disability (e.g. hoisting), and good companionship is what we re looking for. Cultural experience of Italian/south American characters a benefit.
Pay rates from £11.50 - £16 p/hr. Day shifts - hours to suit - Self employed preferable.
Paid Mileage/travel
On site family member to ‘train’ to follow daily routines/care plan Various shift patterns available - we want to find the right people.
Would suit those retired or currently in a clinical environment who want extra work, those studying care/clinical courses. We would prefer clinical backgrounds, however experience and character equally important. Students studying for clinical jobs are welcome.
All successful applicants will need to have a DBS check.
