What you will do in your working day

As an Apprentice Construction Site Supervisor, you will be an integral part of our construction team, working under the guidance of an experienced site team to ensure the successful completion of construction projects.

This apprenticeship opportunity offers hands-on experience in managing and coordinating various aspects of construction activities while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines.

Key responsibilities will be:

• Assist in overseeing daily operations on the construction site, including coordinating subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment usage.
• Learn and apply industry-standard safety practices and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Support the site management in interpreting plans, building regulations and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of construction tasks.
• Assist in monitoring project progress and report any deviations from the schedule or budget to the site management.
• Learn to manage and resolve on-site issues, conflicts, or emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
• Collaborate with the project team to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Gain practical experience in conducting quality inspections to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of daily activities, including progress reports, material inventory, and workforce attendance.
• Participate in regular meetings with the project team to discuss project status, goals, and upcoming tasks.
• Undertake training and professional development opportunities to enhance construction management skills and knowledge.

Apprentice will be required to travel to work sites which are situated in Trowbridge, Wiltshire or within a 3-mile radius. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the construction site.

The training you will be getting

Level 3 - Construction support technician Apprenticeship.
Delivery method and location of training to be confirmed.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

We’d hope to see a successful Apprentice progress to a full time Supervisor role within the company, continuing to support the Project Managers. Potential further progression to Project Manager role.
