Our client, based in Bradford (BD2), have the opportunity for an experienced CNC machinist to join them at their site in Bradford, BD2.

About the job:

• Set up and operate Bystronic CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to blueprints, drawings, or work orders.
• Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for each job.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, adjusting as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
• Quality check work at various point during the process.

About you:

• Previous experience as a CNC press brake operator or similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with CNC programming and machine controls.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
