Senior Mechanic
Join our dynamic team in the crew area of the North! We’re seeking a skilled Mechanic to undertake a vital role that demands technical expertise, attention to detail, and a profound understanding of automotive systems.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct software updates for the vehicles and components, specialising in software flashing.
- Assess vehicles on public roads to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide support in the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) cell during peak periods.
- Prepare vehicles for loan to Press Journalists in the UK and abroad (Tier1)
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Workshop Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Capability to drive and assess vehicles on public roads. (Over 25 with clean driving licence)
- Collaborative skills to support vehicle technicians in vehicle preparation, inspection, and servicing.
- Proficient in mechanical rectification, diagnostic analysis, and logging.
- Expertise in servicing and repairing fleet vehicles of all models.
- Skills in tyre changing, balancing, brake component inspection and replacement, and suspension component inspection and replacement.
- Experience in Geo wheel alignment, camera and sensor set up.
- Availability to support events for Press and Special UK and Abroad when needed, Valid passport will be required.
