Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Position Overview: We are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team and support students across various schools in Doncaster. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent and have a genuine passion for working with children. The role involves providing one-to-one support, assisting with classroom activities, and promoting an inclusive learning environment. The ability to drive is preferred as this role may involve travel between different school locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, including those with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning needs.
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Support students with their learning and personal development, helping them to achieve their full potential.
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
• Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
• Contribute to the creation of a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning, TQUK Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
• Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational and personal development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle preferred.
