Job description

We are looking for someone who has safeguarding understanding and background to support us with the safeguarding admin. We are a small but mighty team and largely made up of volunteers so your role will play a significant part.

What will you be doing?

• Supporting the safeguarding team in monitoring chat logs with mentors and mentees
• Filling, minute taking and providing DSL & DDSLs with administrative support
• Booking in 30 minute consultations with the safeguarding team if staff or mentees have safeguarding concerns.
• Monitoring the safeguarding email inbox and triaging these emails into levels used within the organisation. 
• Keeping a chronological order of the ongoing safeguarding concerns
• Having a good understanding of adult safeguarding 
• Having a good understanding of Microsoft Office

What are we looking for?

- admin - be very organised and have over 3 years experience within an administration role or such like

- safeguarding experience and strong understanding 

- Team player - works closely with safeguarding team

- Efficient and organised

- Very good attention to detail

- Great communication 

- Highly confidential

This role is very important as safeguarding our service users is our priority. We need to handle safeguarding matters in a serious way and really need some support to keep it all organised and efficient.
