Management Accountant

Footasylum

Location

Rochdale, Greater Manchester | United Kingdom

Job description

The Opportunity

We’re hiring for a Qualified Management Accountant to come and join our vibrant Finance Team. Footasylum has been developing as one of the UK’s leading omni-channel retailers and the strength of our Head Office operation is our people. We are looking for an experienced Qualified Management Accountant who has brilliant stakeholder managements skills, who is comfortable compiling reports and holding meetings with department leaders to correlate data and support improvements and efficiencies.

Why Footasylum?

We’ve been going through a digital transformation, changing how we deliver value to our business. A big part of this change is fostering a culture of being open and honest, collaborating, having fun and enabling psychological safety.

We want to create a place for teams to do their best work, and you will have the opportunity to influence our decisions, help define standards across the stakeholders and contribute to a healthy and happy working environment.

The Team

The finance team consist of 23 people. This role will be reporting directly to the Head of Management accounts and FP&A. You will be working alongside, and closely with 3 other management accountants, a FP&A Manager and Assistant FP&A analyst. You will also have direct exposure to the CEO and CFO of the company.

About You

You will need to be an experienced Qualified Management Accountant. Most importantly you will need to be a good communicator and have strong excel skills, with the ability to break down complex financial data and present it to stakeholders. If you have experience using Business Central, that would be great but is not essential.

What you will do:

Diversity

We recognise and value the importance of diversity to help make sure we have lots of different perspectives when we are building products and services. We know that this will help us build useful and accessible things which our customers will love. This is great news for our business. Diversity for us is also, importantly, about building happy teams full of people that want to learn and want to be inspired by each other and our different experiences and backgrounds.

Recruitment Process

We’ll help make the interview process as transparent and stress-free as possible.

We review applications individually, and if we feel you would be a good fit, we’ll invite you for a call or Teams video for an informal chat about the role and to see if we’re a good fit for you.

We value open and honest conversations and collaboration, allowing you to learn about our work in an informal and friendly environment. We want to know about you and why you feel this is your opportunity.

Please note this is not a remote role, and we expect that you will be able to attend Head Office in a hybrid way in Greater Manchester.
