Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $145,985.00. Base salary ranges from $85,000.00 to $129,948.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Information Sir Joseph Banks High School is a comprehensive high school with a current enrolment of 931 mainstream students and a Support Unit of 72 students catering for 3 Intellectually Mild and 2 Intellectually Moderate classes. We are a vibrant and proudly inclusive, multicultural learning community (84% NESB), with 29 Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island students, who have built a strong learning culture of Excellence, Innovation, Opportunity and Success.Excellence: We are proudly inclusive and utilise the wide range of cultural and language backgrounds as opportunities to deepen and enrich student learning.Innovation: At present we are building teacher capacity through professional learning teams who are working on Future Focused Learning and implementing Project Based Learning, Visible Learning and Growth Mindset as part of our curriculum.Opportunity: Our learning community has developed strong partnerships with our 6 primary partners through the development of a Community of Schools, local, metropolitan and global businesses through Australian Business Community Network, several TAFEs and all major universities.Success: We are a high growth high school achieving at the top 1% in NSW for growth in literacy and numeracy between Years 9-12.
