Civil Design Technician
Cardiff £25,000 - £40,000 We have an opportunity in Cardiff as a Civil Design Technician. You’ll be joining a growing, multidiscipline consultancy working alongside a talented team of engineers and technicians.
The role:
As a Civil Design Technician you’ll be working on a mixture of Infrastructure and Drainage drafting, supporting a senior engineer - using mainly AutoCAD – however you will be exposed to Civil/Site3D
Other duties include:
- Creating Section 278, Section 38, and Section 104 packages for proposed residential projects.
- Setting-out information for plots, highways, kerbs, and drainage.
- Creating SAB compliant drainage networks
We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience, keen to progress within the company and contribute to the growth and success.
You will need to have qualifications in Civil Engineering or an equivalent and be proficient in design software such as MicroDrainage/Flow, AutoCAD, and Civil/Site 3D.
