Casual Health Coach

Salary: £26.75

Contract type: Casual 

Location: Watford and Three Rivers areas

Closing date: Ongoing

Interview date: TBC 

Summary of Your Role: 

You will have the opportunity to support the Health and Wellbeing manger to deliver one to one consultations to motivate people to engage in more physical activity.

Your Roles and Responsibilities, but Not Limited To

The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • To work with people on a one to one basis to explore and identify how they are being affected by being inactive.
  • To support people to be more active through using a range of behaviour change techniques and motivational interviewing.
  • To help people understand the benefits of physical activity and what opportunities there are in the local area.
  • To support the Health and Wellbeing manager on administration tasks, for example, phone calls, reports, and promotional activities.

You Must Have:  

  • A passion for physical activity
  • Ability to motivate people to take part in physical activity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of the Trust commitment to EDI & Safeguarding

You Ideally Would Have

  • Level 2 Fitness Instructor Qualifications or Level 2 Exercise to music qualification.
  • Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training
  • Level 3 GP Referral.
  • First Aid
  • Safeguarding qualification
