Academics are currently recruiting for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work full-time within one of our partnership schools located in Llantwit Major.

About the role:

Location: Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan

Pay: Starting at £76 per day (dependant on qualifications and experience)

Position: Learning Support Assistant

Hours: Mon to Fri (8:30AM to 3:30PM)

Start date: 19/02/2024

About us: Join our dedicated team and work within the heart of Llantwit Major, where education meets excellence. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to contribute to the school community.

Qualifications and Experience desired to be considered for this role as an LSA:

* Experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or TA in a primary school setting
* Highly desirable to have qualifications relevant to childcare, TA, or education.
* Be willing or already have an Enhanced DBS and registered with the EWC.

What to expect as a Learning Support Assistant:

* Provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs
* Collaborate with teachers to implement effective learning strategies
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Assist with behaviour management and student engagement.
* Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
