Job description
Three is looking to recruit a Voice Configuration & Deployment Engineer. This team manages change and workflow for the day-to-day operation of the Mobile Circuit Core Network and supports the delivery of projects.
The role encompasses delivery of change to the Three Core Network to enable the optimisation of network features, products and services in line with business requirements. You will be expected to work with functional stakeholders to deliver changes in a planned and controlled manner ensuring minimal impact to network services.

The candidate requires exceptional cross functional working skills to develop and support close working relationship with internal and external teams.
• This role will focus on the delivery of International Roaming.
Job Description
- You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the integrity of Three’s voice networks are maintained in the most efficient and effective manner .
- Work closely with the design teams and the managed service partner to deliver planned network changes.
- Plan and coordinate the delivery of configuration changes for International Roaming and voice services.
- Review and refine processes and procedures in order to deliver high quality, scalable and cost-effective configuration in support of business initiatives whilst ensuring network performance and customer experience.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- Demonstrate knowledge of telecommunication networks.
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of configuration delivery.
- Experience of working with Designs.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with programming / scripting.
- Strong IP skills – demonstratable experience of Network configuration.
- Experience of Integration or commissioning.
- Experience of the commercial deployment of LTE, which could include design, test and/or deployment.
- Experience of working with core network systems.
- Educated to degree level in a Telecommunications / related discipline.
- Knowledge of IT (PC, UNIX and Networking) and Telecommunication skills

- The salary range for this role starts at £40,960, the exact salary will differ by job and experience

At Three we have a hybrid working arrangement in place as standard for office based employees, where employees work from a mix of office based location and working from their home in the UK to carry on their role.
Excluding retail, core hours at Three are between 10:00 and 16:00, with operating hours between 08:00 & 18:30. This allows employees to have a start time between 08:00 and 10:00 and finish time between 16:00 and 18:30.
