Job description
Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a leading manufacturer of Material Handling equipment looking to on-board a new Asset Controller to work out of their new depot in South-East London. With a competitive package and long term potential, this could be a great opportunity for an individual who has experience of using SAP software and comes from a technical background.
Responsibilities
· Monitoring forklift trucks returning from customers
· Carrying out inspections and checking specifications
· Creating condition reports
· Working alongside the sales team in order to find suitable forklifts solutions for clients
· Using SAP software daily and carrying out any required administrative duties to include: Financial reports, customer transactions and logistics processes
· Managing stock levels and carrying out routine stock takes
· Overseeing end of contract meetings
· Travelling to other company depots and customer sites when required
Requirements
The company have a preference for an individual with technical experience within the Material Handling industry and a strong understanding of SAP software. Thery would also be open to candidates with technical backgrounds in other industries provided they have SAP experience and are computer literate. It is also essential that you hold a full UK driver’s license since there will be an element of travel with the position. In terms of location, you will ideally be within commutable distance of South East London.
