- Position: Parts Advisor – Motor Dealership
- Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum plus bonus opportunity of £2,000 per year plus very good staff benefits
- Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00-18:00 plus every other Saturday morning 08:00 – 12:00
- Haywards Heath area based company – plenty of free parking on site for staff. Due to remote workplace location you will need to be a driver and have your own transport.
We are delighted to be working alongside our professional and very established motor dealership client as they seek to recruit a Parts Advisor to join their friendly team on a full time permanent basis.

Duties and responsibilities:
- To receive and identify stock and check goods from suppliers.
- To ensure accurate identification of customer’s needs by means of parts catalogues and computer lists using company and manufacturer systems.
- To assist colleagues in parts identification and, if required, replacements.
- To ensure that stock is only issued in accordance with policy regarding payment or charge.
- To correctly locate items in parts department.
- To work as part of a team to achieve the target sales set.
- To communicate clearly and politely both in person and on the telephone with customers
- To attend manufacturers and company training courses
- To conduct all transactions with customers
- To reconcile takings daily.
- Other duties as required, i.e. parts delivery, warehouse duties.
- To inform customers at the earliest opportunity of any delays
Skills, experience and competencies required:
- Previous experience with the motor trade (parts) or within a motor dealership
- Good computer skills
