Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for an dynamic experienced HR Advisor to join a well established, family run manufacturing business based in Harrow.
The company is currently going through an exciting transformation with the continuous growth of their product offering. As a result are looking for individuals who are passionate about being part of a high performing, supportive and innovative team.
As a HR Advisor you will support the HR operations along with assisting the Senior HR Manager in delivering strategic HR goals. You will be responsible for undertaking the day to day administration for HR and also providing some Executive Assistant support to the board.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of a HR Advisor:
- Provide comprehensive HR advisory support to employees and management, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment law
- Support management with performance, sickness management and employee engagement
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Support in the implementation of a new HRIS system and assist in the administration of the system
- Maintain and manage employee records
- Support with ER casework which could include investigations, conflict resolutions and other employee relations activities
- Recruitment support including drafting job specs, working with recruiters and carrying out interviews
- Carrying out inductions and onboardings
- Assist in organizing company events, training and staff wellbeing activities
- Supporting the Snr HR Manager to deliver strategic HR objectives
- Working closely with with the Snr HR Manager on HR projects and initiatives
- Attend and record minutes for executive-level meetings; follow up on action items and deadlines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HR advisory roles with a solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
- Previous experiencing within HR in the manufacturing industry would be advantageous
- CIPD qualification desirable (ideally level 5)
- Ability to effectively minute executive level meetings and follow up on actions.
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Exceptional organisations skills

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Proficient in the MS Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Positive attitude, adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Approachable and friendly
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
