Job Description
- Manage and ensure the collection of outstanding account receivables
- Perform credit checks on potential clients
- Produce detailed financial reports related to credit and collections
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues
- Work closely with the finance team to improve processes
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and company policies
- Support the team in the month-end closing process
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A strong educational background in finance, accounting or related field
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of accounting principles and credit control procedures
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
