Job description
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Security Technology & Innovation Manager to join
our Allied Universal, G4S team.
With a primary focus on developing appropriate technical and physical security solutions for our
client. The role is tasked to review security technology improvements and innovations that could
enhance the efficiency and service of security operations at the clients’ facilities.
The role will require you to utilise our Business Clients preferred suppliers and industry
expertise to recommend investments in technology and innovative solutions to address risks.
As well as frequent communication with Key stakeholders, Service Delivery Director,
Technology Services division and third-party integrators.
What you will be doing
Develop and accelerate the client’s security systems technology capabilities and assess
short-term and long-term needs, report to the business on trends and emerging technology and
innovations in view of client’s business strategies and plans.
Own and accelerate the G4S and client’s agenda to deliver increased technical security
solutions, by preparation of feasibility studies, customer-based case studies, and costed return
on investment proposals.
Engage at all levels of the customers organisation via innovation forums and work closely with
key stakeholders including Security by Design team, Corporate Security, Facilities Management
and Senior Director level.
Review the effectiveness of current security programmes and technology as a driver of
innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, with the following principles in mind:
Mitigating risk to the business and delivering cost efficiencies without through and
simplifying processes
Support the strategic role out of Security Systems programmes and provide expertise on the
best set-up and use of systems in line with client’s policies
What we are looking for
Ideally educated to degree level, with demonstrable commitment to learning & development
Mid-senior leadership management experience in the Security Systems or Corporate Security
sector incorporating Security Systems management.
Demonstrable experience of project management ideally but not essential within security
systems installation.
Experience in risk management processes
Technical experience of access control, CCTV, intruder systems, and remote monitoring
Operations.
Appreciation and experience of alternative industry products to drive innovation and continuous
improvement.

Salary: Up to £52,000 dependant on experience
Location: UK Based with some International Travel
Hours: 40 hours per week
