Job Title : Finance Assistant

Location: Central Canterbury | Free parking!

Salary: £15ph

Contract: Temporary 2-3 months

Hours: 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

This is a rare opportunity to join a friendly Finance Team working in beautiful offices in Central Canterbury, even rarer is that free parking is also on offer! Alternatively, the offices are also within walking distance from the local Bus and Train stations, as well as all of the lovely Canterbury shops and restaurants to enjoy in your lunch break.

This is a Temporary position starting immediately, however the company will be recruiting for this role on a Permanent basis so there are definitely longer term opportunities for the right candidate.

The duties in your new role would be:

• Supporting the Finance Team with daily Banking duties


• Updating Cashbook registers


• Processing Expenses on SAP


• Updating balance sheets


• Updating income and expenditures


• Processing payments


• Managing Petty Cash


• Updating and monitoring Excel spreadsheets


• Covering Purchase Ledger duties on an adhoc basis


• Other Finance duties as required

We'd love to speak to candidates who have:

• Previous experience in a Finance related role


• AAT qualifications or studying towards (not essential)


• Excellent attention to detail


• Experience using either Sage, SAP, or Excel


• The ability to start a new role immediately and commit to a temporary position on an ongoing basis
