Job description
We are working with a newly acquired nursery that looks after children up to 5 years old in Lewisham, looking to add a Nursery Practitioner to their team.
You will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children, supporting their development, planning, and implementing age-appropriate activities. This nursery believes that their goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning.
They are committed to fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development in a bright and welcoming setting, which is close transport links, and has great facilities for young minds to explore!

Responsibilities - Work closely with parents and carers to ensure a rich experience for all the children under your care, providing regular updates on children's progress
- Create an atmosphere of trust, security, and comfort
- Implement an innovative, age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with modern teaching methods and approaches
- Regularly observe and assess each child's development, behaviour, and needs. Keep detailed records and share progress with parents and caregivers during parent-teacher meetings
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Minimum of a Level 3 childcare recognised qualification or equivalent (e.g., CACHE, NNEB)
- Paediatric First Aid certification
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- Strong knowledge of modern teaching methods and technology integration in education
