An opportunity has arisen to join us at Barnfield College Luton as part of the teaching team in Sport.
We are looking for an experienced, inspirational and enthusiastic teacher who is current in skills, knowledge and forward thinking. You will demonstrate a positive and motivational approach to the learning experience for students to enhance their future career prospects within industry. The successful candidate should have a good level of industry experience in sport that can be shared within the classroom environment for both practical and theory content. You will be confident in producing engaging and interactive learning materials to stimulate a diverse range of 16-19 students with differing needs level 1-3. You will be student focused, a positive role model and have an ability to promote and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching, be committed to providing prompt, detailed assessment outcomes of student work and provide personal tutoring with target setting. The successful applicant will be proactive and motivational in their approach and prepared to engage with employers in the community to enhance the experience, skills and knowledge of students. Teaching experience and relevant qualifications are desirable although we are keen to hear from anyone with the right skills. We offer a supportive culture which offers excellent CPD opportunities.
