Apprentice People & Culture Administrator

Term Time (190 days) + 3 weeks

5 days per week (37.5 hours)

Year 1 £12,337- £7.00 per hour

Year 2 salary (NMW dependent on age)

The Remarkable Group has been established for over 50 years, providing the highest quality services for autistic young people. Wargrave House School (ages 5 – 16) & Ascent College (ages 16 – 25) operate a non-maintained special school and independent specialist college with an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding education and care to young people with Autism. We are the first national provider to receive Beacon status from the National Autistic Society.

We are looking for a People and Culture Apprentice who wishes to develop their skills in this interesting and challenging field. Are you someone with a ‘can do’ attitude; are you a team player, with good communication skills both verbal and written? If so we would love an application, from you.

As our next People and Culture Apprentice, you will be working towards a Level 3 qualification alongside supporting the smooth running of the People and Culture Department.

Duties include but are not exclusive of:

·        Admin and data entry duties.

·        Answering employee questions verbally, by telephone, email and in writing

·        Respond to People and Training queries as they arise, escalating complex queries to People and Culture Assistant. 

·        Produce People letters and business communications on ad hoc basis

·        Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping People and Culture information confidential

·        Maintain a high-level quality service by following organisation policies & standards.

Over the course of 18 months, you will study topics such as understanding an organisation, regulations, policies & processes/procedures, business fundamentals and IT (these subjects may differ). Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will achieve a HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship, Level 3 CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice.
